Members of TEENAGE RENEGADE and BILLY GAZ STATION join forces to offer us these 7 frsh and sunny songs. They got the idea and started the project while touring together in France last year.
90s alternative power pop mixed to US indie rock is what you get here. Amazingly, Erin's vocals sometimes remind me of 80s pop queen Kim Wilde! "One No One's List" and "On Your Side" (once performed by Billy's old band The WATERGUNS) are probably the strongest songs on here in the sense that they won't leave your brain after listening to them.
While Nasty Samy's guitar style is still easily recognizable, you'll be surprised at how good the mix of Erin's and Billy's vocals is on songs like "The Lone Saviors" or "Unbroken". This is very well produced and it all ends up softly with a ballad "Just For Once" and a PIERCED ARROWS cover "Caroline".
Get this CD if you're in need of good summer songs!/Laurent.
