Los Angeles producer/engineer Rober S. Liam (aka "Simon") is back with a new album under the name JET BLACK KISS. Opening song "Car Crash" offers us some solid heavy rock while "Don't Fade Away On me" goes more in the alternative rock/punk territory. This actually gives you an idea about the whole album atmosphere.
The project is still pretty much a one man band on album but this is all done quite well (though it would probably be even better with a full band.) JET BLACK KISS stands somewhere between the STONE TEMPLE PILOTS and WHITE ZOMBIES but WARRIOR SOUL also comes to mind ("We All Must Come Together", "Let It Roll".)
One of the strongest songs on here is "Psycho Baby" with guitars and melody reminding of the MANIC STREET PREACHERS. This song makes you think that JET BLACK KISS only gets better and better.../Laurent.
