5 song to introduce French act KILLING PARTIES in which you'll find members from bands as various as NEDGEVA, SPARKLING BOMBS, BUTCH and AMPM. So what can we expect from such an ill-assorted gathering and from such an uninhibited sexy cover?
"Blow Me First" is quite close to DANKO JONES while "Anyway" sounds more like SOUNDGARDEN. You can even find some KYUSS/QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE traces in "Cheater" and a HELMET touch in "Make It Last". Most songs on here are riff based and work quite well as such though you can tell that the band likes to work on arrangements too.
The last song "Kill Today" and its punk rock tempo shows another side of KILLING PARTIES and lead us to think that the band will probably surprise us with their next releases./Laurent.
