'Nine Lives Never Dies'

posted 2009-11-20

PLASTIC TEARS are back! Those guys released a great album "Stranded In Rock'n'Roll" back in 1999... Already 10 years ago (time flies!) This album established them as one of the best rock'n'roll bands from Finland in our book! "Nine Live Never Dies" and its all leopard print artwork doesn't leave any doubt about the TEARS' love for rock'n'roll: it is still the same, and songs like "Everybody's Bitch But Mine" "Tainted Memories" or"Love Is For Losers" show that even though bands like HANOI ROCKS, SMACK or the LORDS OF THE NEW CHURCH now rest in piece, their legacy is alive and well!
Other great moments on this album include "Sweet Summer Suicide" and its hopeless romantic feel, glam punk hit "London Rain" and the intense "Underworld Angels" that seems to bring Stiv Bators back to life! But these are just a few since you won't find any bad song on "Nine Lives Never Dies".
I wish there was more bands like this!/Laurent.
