GLUECIFER never really made it for me. Well, I didn't dislike them and I've always thought that their music was quite good every time I got to hear it but there was so many punk'n'roll bands like them when they existed, all these bands sounding and looking the same, and so many of them giving the impression that they found out about rock music with TURBONEGRO...
Anyway, you'll find rare songs that mostly were on vinyls on this compilation album. Opening track "Desolate City" was actually the last song they recorded together and I have to say that this the best one from I've heard from the band!
Other standout songs include"You Keep Me Up All Night", "Ape And Essence", "Speedfoot" and their CHEAP TRICK cover "Surrender" rocks!
This makes me think that I could have loved this band if they'd have had less generic up-tempo punk rock'n'roll songs./Laurent.
