'More Senseless Random Behaviour'

posted 2009-09-10

Following their first and promising album "On Your Skin", this second full-length CD untitled "More Senseless Random Behaviour" is released on Swedish label Swedmetal.
Now, just to refresh your memory, VANITY INK is a hard rockin' female fronted band from Finland who released a couple of EPs and played tons of gigs before recording their first album. Influences such as LITA FORD or DORO and the 80s heavy rock scene can still be found on this album but it seems like they chose to sound even heavier this time though their rock'n'roll side and love for in your face choruses are still showing very well in songs like "Fine By Thursday", "Let's Go Down" or "Rolling Stones".
VANITY INK also shows a pretty good ability for heavy rock ballads ("Breathe"), poppy rock ("Modern Day Saviour") and even punk rock ("Oh Sue") on "More Senseless Random Behaviour".
Let's not forget about the sleazy boogie "Rock and Roll" and the stadium rock "Everbodymoveeverybodygethurt", these ones will make you dance!
More variety and better songs, it seems like nothing will stop VANITY INK, they will get to your ears!/Laurent.
