HEAVEN'S BASEMENT has been touring a lot in the UK, supporting THUNDER and playing a few summer festivals as well. There's no doubt that this has helped the band to get a stronger fanbase and sound tighter, and believe me these guys can play! You can figure it out as soon as you'll hear opening song "Tear Your heart Out".
6 hard rock'n'roll songs in which you'll find 80s but also 70s (LED ZEPPELIN, DEEP PURPLE) influences especially in "Executioner's Day". Names such as WHITESNAKE, THIN LIZZY or AEROSMITH also come to mind at times as they never forget about the rock'n'roll touch of their hard rock, just listen to "Fear Of Getting Off" and you'll get addicted! And if you dig bands like D.A.D., then big chances are that HEAVEN'S BASEMENT will find a place in your record collection (or Ipod!) too.
Remember bands like The ALMIGHTY or LITTLE ANGELS and how you could feel that they were the right bands at the right time in the UK? Well, HEAVEN'S BASEMENT is the band the British heavy rock scene needs in 2009!/Laurent.
