“Let’s rock!” This is the title of the first song on this album and this is no lie! The second song (and single) “Pam Anderson” directly puts you in the atmosphere of this album, good catchy party rock’n’roll! You like KISS and CHEAP TRICK? Then, there’s no way you can’t like KELLY FAIRCHILD!
For some reason this CD also reminds me of Ace Frehley’s solo albums at times. Kelly probably wouldn’t deny it as you’ll find a KISS cover (“Comin’ Home”) on the album, what a good song choice! Bubblegum rock junkies will love “Let’s Go Away” and “Don’t Stop” but you’ll also find more emotional moments on this CD like in “Live Again” and songs that RAMONES fans will rock to (“Why Won’t You Love Me”…)
I sadly missed KELLY FAIRCHILD’s show at The Joint in Beverly Hills (damn L.A bus!) a couple of weeks ago but something tells me that I will see this Canadian rock’n’roller and his band on a stage in the future… If you’re like me and didn’t get the chance to catch KELLY FAIRCHILD live, just get this CD, it will make you feel better!/Laurent.
