'Hell Motel'

I saw CRACKHOUSE live before listening to their CD and they made a very good impression on me so I was curious to see if they’d be as good on their album. This Italian gang has been rockin’ hard since 1995 and here they are with probably their best release to date “Hell Motel”, to be honest I haven’t heard the ones before but this CD is a heavy street rock’n’roll killer! Through these 10 songs, you can hear that CRACKHOUSE will never deny influences such as MOTLEY CRUE and the 80s L.A scene (Kelly’s voice sometimes reminds me of Taime Down’s) but they probably also rocked to UK’s best hard rock’n’roll bands (“Two Shots Away” has a bit of a CULT feel while “Hell Motel” would probably please any WILDHEARTS fan!)… If you like big rock anthems, then just listen to “T.R.L.” and you won’t get disappointed!. The band members really know how to play their instruments and the guitar player probably has a few Zakk Wylde records in his collection! I’m not too fond of the record cover though, this makes the CD look more like a demo to me but everybody knows that you can’t judge a book by its cover, so get your hands on “Hell Motel”!/Laurent.
