GUTTERCAT & The MILKMEN is the new project of Guttercat (ex-BABY STRANGE) and former members of French bands PINKY BABIES, 17 LONERS and The BOHEMIANS. If you know the man and BABY STRANGE’s music, you can get a little idea about what you’re going to get but this two song demo CD allows us to get introduced to the band’s music and shows that this kind of rock’n’roll still has defenders in France. “Ballad Of a Drunk Man” and “Lonely Tears in The Dark” are two straight from the gutter songs that you will love if you’re into Johnny Thunders’ or Tyla’s solo albums. The Johnny Thunders influence can mainly be found in the guitars and melodies…. We’ll keep an eye on these cats! /Laurent.
