MAMA KIN "s/t" demo CD

The name of this Swedish band will automatically remind you of AEROSMITH or GUNS N'ROSES and even if MAMA KIN doesn't exactly play the same music style as these major rock bands, you can sure find their influence quite easily in these 3 songs. Good old sleazy hard rock'n'roll with heavy guitar riffs and big choruses. "Higher & Higher" is a mid-tempo melodic heavy rock song with a chorus that could have been heard on every US rock radio in the 80s. The second title ("Show You Sumthin'") is more of a party rock song in the KISS/POISON vein. Then this demo CD ends up with "Sunday Morning", a bluesy acoustic song that you can play on your hungover days... In these 80s hair metal revival days, I'm sure that MAMA KIN will be able to find their place once they have a full-length CD out.
