LYCOSIA
'S/T' -Advanced Promo Copy- LYCOSIA
(from France) is one of these bands playing metal with industrial, new
wave pop and slight glam influences. Their sound being close to the
nu-metal one, their music can undoubtedly have a wide appeal because
of its various influences. This album following their previous release"Unisex"
is their third one and displays stronger industrial as well as melodic
parts. Songs like "cold summer", "trade in
your hate" and "velveteen kiss" are really
good and catchy enough to make you want to listen to them again after
the first listening. The band also has a more tribal side, being inluenced
by Asia more especially ("Altaï", "Scythia".)
It won't be a big surprise if I say that my favorite songs on here are
the glam/dark rock influenced ones but this album is really worth checking
out and should be the one asserting the band's identity.
