LETHAL INJECTION 'The Other Lie Form' promo-cd.
(Email. Official site.)
What first shocked me on this CD was that some parts of these songs also appear on the UNDERCOVER SLUT promo-cd (because Kill Jelly played in UCS in the past.) Anyway, the few songs I'm talking about aren't played the same way in both bands and the two gangs take different paths now.  LETHAL INJECTION is into industrial techno rock with a glam touch and metal guitars. "Demons Whore" made me think about MINISTRY, it has the same dark and powerful atmosphere. Some other songs, or parts are in the MANSON/WHITE ZOMBIE vein and you can feel that the electro scene  also has deeply influenced the band ("D.V. Hate" is a good example.) All of this sounds good (the production is ok and the programming is interesting) but ,I can't say that I've liked everything on this record. I just feel divided, there's some stuff I really like and other I don't. I have to wait for the next recordings to be able to have a clear-cut opinion. This should not influence you too much, just listen to this band 'cause they will perfectly fit into the 2000s.
