These last months (years?), eveything coming from sunny Italy has been glam metal. So it's a good surprise to see that other glam influenced rock'n'roll styles also exist there. LANDSLIDE LADIES are the living proof of it. They've been around since November 2002 trying to keep the glam punk spirit alive despite several line-up changes. That's probably the reason why this EP is an acoustic one in the vein of Johnny Thunders and Tyla. They would probably never be ashamed to admit it since they cover "Little Bit Of Whore" (Thunders) as well as "Hammersmith Palais" (DEMOLITION 23.) So yeah, guitar, honesty,heart-broken vocals and a will to rock without being the best musicians in the world is just what you need when you get such a record. And believe me, this is like blues,we'll always need acoustic songs.
