INTERNAL
DISFUNCTION "Nine Feet Under" (Demo CD)
(Official Website)
The name of this Italian band made me think more of a hardcore band
than one of a glam punk one. But well, let's listen to it... The introduction
to this CD makes me think that I was right about the hardcore thing
but then "Jack & Coke Suicide Blues" quickly makes
me change my mind since it sounds glammish punk rock'n'roll. INTERNAL
DISFUNCTION is actually a cross between 80s Sunset metal and 80s punk
rock with fun choruses to sing along ("Deca-Dance 1984")
This mix of influences reminds me of WRATHCHILD (U.K) at times and the
vocals sometimes bring the early 90s awesome French glam punks TEASIN'BABES
to mind. This CD still contains the usual demo imperfections and maybe
too many songs for a demo but there's some potential here and I can
only advise everyone to keep an eye on this young band.
