This band hailing out from the Paris area started as a RAMONES tribute band in 2002 and you still can find traces of that since they play "Blitzkrieg Bop" on this 5 song CD. The other songs sometimes remind me of BACKYARD BABIES ("Total 13" era), HOLLYWOOD TEASZE and JERRY SPIDER GANG. These tunes all have cool punky catchy choruses and a dirty garage rock sound that fits well with the general atmosphere. There's also a great glam pop punk rock'n'roll hit called "Spider" that won't leave your mind after the first listening. It's good to see that there are more and more good bands in France playing this kind of music and, I'm looking forward to hear more from the MOTHERFUCKERS as well as seeing them live. Go for it!
