The
DEADLINES "Fashion
Over Function".
(Tooth & Nail) (Website)
When I first listened to this band, I could not have imagined that their
album was out on Tooth & Nail records which is more a Christian
hardcore label in my mind even though they have quite a few interesting
bands. So, the DEADLINES play rock'n'roll in which you can find some 60s/70s
influences such as The STOOGES, The WHO and early glam punk. All in all,
any kind of rock fans can enjoy this CD whether they're into pop rock,
classic rock'n'roll, glam punk or stuff like The (INTERNATIONAL) NOISE
CONSPIRACY. I should also mention that the art-work is well-done,
arty and glamorous in the 70s way. A pretty good release.
Laurent.
