APHRODISIAX "E
Pluribus Moronicus" This
American band is the result from the bastard mix of 80s/90s sleaze
rock and today's punk'n'roll. The vocals remind me a lot of JUNKYARD
and FASTER PUSSYCAT (two bands I've always loved!) and the music rocks
hard. The booklet says that this album was recorded in 48 hours "during
the consumption of 60 beers and a bottle of vodka" so this is
raw but, just how it should be when it comes to straight-up sleazy
booze' n'roll! Songs like "Living Dead" or "Dream
Queen" have cool catchy choruses that make you want to party
and The
band also knows how to play cool bluesy ballads like "Driving"
or even
accoustic tunes for the lonely hearts like "Drinking".
This is good and probably even better live. |
